I just want to highlight the RFT tyre issue which is really a nightmare for any BMW owner. I purchased a X1 from Munich Motors Nagpur and my first drive with the new X1 was a nightmare for my whole family as after 150 Kms my tyre got puncture, on spare wheel we managed to reach Indore where I got my tyre changed under insurance for which i paid 8500/- till this time my car odo was only clocked 1700km afterwords when I took my car from Indore back to my hometown again one rear tyre got puncture on calling my dealership for help instead of helping they started questioning me that how your tyre is getting puncture again and again . I calmly replied that this is the question i shd have asked you people then the company person called me and was asking me the road conditions in Maharashtra which is really bad but frankly speaking these rft tyres are hopless and service is pathetic
Sir, my bmw 320d no. DL1CM1878 has been your service centre Titania product, Ranchi since 4.6.18 as engine was not starting. On several follow up mr Irfan asked for rs. 50000.00 as advance payment for parts after 20 days.
I had deposited the same on 22.6.18 and he had committed to deliver the car in running conditions within a week in front of mr. Mishra & Mr. Bimal singhania.
Sir, it’s my humble request please let me know exact status of the car. Prakash
I brought a bmw 320d in may 2015 from deutsche motoren, moti nagar, new delhi and sent the car for repairs at their workshop in faridabad , i paid Rs. 1200 for pick and drop facility and the driver touched the front bumper for which the company was not ready to claim .
Afterwards the company agreed for the driver’s fault and i sent my car back for the repair and service.
Now the company is blackmailing me to pay the bill in advance otherwise they will not deliver the car as they are saying the company policy is to take the bill in advance if its above Rs 20000, which no one ever told while taking the car.
Deutsche motoren is just dooing fraud with the customers , as my friends and relatives also have bmw and they never experienced this problem of paying the bill in advance.
I bought BMW 520D in march 2011. Last month i send my car to DEUTSCHE MOTERAN delhi to check car systems and shockers, later they changed left shocker under warranty and replaced brake pads on cost. Then i shifted to Mumbai and just after 15 days the car started showing signal to replace battery. I tried to fix an appointment with INFINITY CARS Mumbai but was able to get a comfortable appointment after one month. Even after reminding them that i cant leave my car for more then two days as i had to travel , the company called me and told that they need four days to return the car. Moreover they said that they will not change the battery as it is only not getting properly charged. I think as only one month is left for the warranty so they dont want to change the battery only charge it for a couple of month as after that they can charge for the new battery. Moreover they also told me that the brake oil needs to be changed. I am surprised what DELHI service people were doing when they were replacing the brake pads. Now also my right shocker is making some noise, i am again surprised why didnt INFINITY replace my both shockers. I think someone from BMW should look into this matter or i have to spend a lot of time for my car to came back to me as it is traveling to workshops again n again for the same reason, or i have to shift to some other reliable brand. My car number is DL-3C-BG-2800.
I am really surprised with the service quality of BMW in India, firstly the car which i own X3 has not even put in 30,000 kms and the brakes are failed. Secondly, i have put in an order for this, and have been following up, no one cares to respond, after repeated followups i have come to know that , they still dont know as to how long it would take. Third, during this time, they would not offer me any spare car, impacting my ability to drive around.
Its completely unbelievable for a brand like BMW to not focus on Service and take India for granted.
I rhave repeatedly tried the BMW India Contact Number provided by you i.e. (124) 4566600. However, at all times I have been only responded by an IVR asking me to leave my contact number. But have not received any return call from them. I request you to provide me with the Customer Care Number or a Contact Number of the General Manager, Dy. Manager or persons in charge of services and complaint redressal.
Without Prejudice
Dear Customer Services Manager,
Quite frankly I am baffled by the attitude of your sales persons both at Mathura Road Delhi and at Birds Auto Motives Gurgaon. Since January of this year, I have been to trying to book your X-1 version of SUV. I wasted a whole month in chasing your executives at Mathura Road. All they seemed interested was to sell me 5 or 7 version. Otherwise they did not have the time to reply to my repeated phone calls. I can provide the names if you so desire. Disgusted, I approached Bird Auto Motives in Gurgaon for the same. Mr. Vikas Sharma came to collect the booking amount cheque from me within 2 hours of my phoning him. But that is the last I heard from him. It took me a lot of effort to get an e-receipt for my cheque of booking amount. I still have not got a hard copy. Since the time I gave cheque in February 2011, I have been the one to ring him. Either he does not respond to my phone calls or he says he will ring back in 5 minutes. That 5 minutes have yet to come.
I do not know if this is a culture that you want to spread in India. Equally, may be your executives feel that a senior Doctor of an elite hospital like Apollo Hospitals can ill afford a BMW car. Whatever be the reason, I do not know how to get my money back from the Bird Auto Motives since nobody else in the company wants to know me. Mr. Vikas Sharma does not want to speak with me for reasons best known to himself.
Kindly advise
