THE MOST INFURIATING EXPERIENCE WITH INDIGO AIRLINES ON NOVEMBER 3, 2018
Following points will summarize the outrageous saga of flying with Indigo
1. We had booked tickets with Indigo Airlines PNR Ref. No. OBZ3HF 3 months in advance to travel from Pune ( PNQ ) to Chennai ( MAA ). The flight was expected to depart at 5:45 am on 3rd and scheduled to reach Chennai by 7:30 am with flight duration of 1 hr 45 minutes. All associated arrangements like hotel booking at Chennai, advance site-seeing booking at Chennai were done accordingly.
2. Indigo cancelled the flight just one day prior to our scheduled departure date leaving us completely dumbstruck. The only bearable alternative they could offer( after lots of angry exchanges ) was making last moment arrangements to travel to Mumbai ( Apprx. 160 kms at our own expense ) and catch a flight from Mumbai ( BOM ) -Surat ( STV ) – Chennai ( MAA ).
a. This alternative was costing us almost 12 hrs of additional travel time, additional expenses to cover. 160 kms of distance with heavy baggage, forgo hotel booking charges, site seeing charges for one day, not to mention the stress and frustrations at the beginning of otherwise well planned holidays.
3. While check-in at Mumbai airport we had explicitly instructed that our baggage should be checked through to our final destination airport and had ensured that the Destination on our Bag tags is MAA ( Chennai ) and not STV ( Surat ). To our utter dismay we found our bags on the belt at Surat Airport. I have no words to express sheer anarchism of Indigo. They were hell bent on spoiling our holiday mood. We lodged a complaint at Surat airport and were promised to rectify Ground staff’s blunder.
4. And all this torture was not enough …. We landed at Chennai airport and the luggage for all passengers got loaded on the belt after a long and taxing wait of more than 45 mins. The hue and cry made by fellow passengers remained unattended. One or two indecisive staff members were made to handle the heated situation.

This is to bring to your notice that i have been travelling with your airlines every month 3 times but on Aug 9 2018 , i and have faced issue towards damage my travelling bag, and your team committed to give compensation of Rs 1000 for damage , but after coordinate with you team in airport counter serval every week they commit to transfer the payment in next 3 days but last 3 month no response ,it as been delay payment issues from your end, and have made several complaints to the customer care department, but have noticed that the issue is not yet solved,, Just to inform you and bring to your notice your services are degrading by the day, and after speaking to your unprofessional executives one is left with no option but being left frustrated. Request you to kindly recheck the case & revert.

This is to bring to your notice that i have been travelling with your airlines 2 weeks or minimum once a month for the last 1 year and half, and have faced delay payment issues from your server end receiving the same, and have made several complaints to the customercare department, but have noticed that the issue is not yet solved, resulting which you allot the seat in the lag period to other passengers, putting your passengers at an inconvenience to no fault of theirs, Just to inform you and bring to your notice your services are degrading by the day, and after speaking to your unprofessional executives one is left with no option but being left frustrated, and having to think it over to fly with you again, so please continue with your unprofessional services, and experience a downfall in the near future. Cause definetely you loosing this customer and many more.
I had booked for an Indigo afternoon flight from Kochi to Chennai on the 23rd of July. ONly when I reached the airport did I realized that my flight was cancelled and the next flight would be only after 9 pm. I had to reach Chennai by about at least 4pm. The girls at the check -in counter (I think her name is Ruksana, can’t remember) was extremely helpful . They helped me get into another flight going to Bangalore and Chennai, and I was able to reach my destination almost at the same time as planned. I thank the team and wish them all the best.
Even earlier, Indigo staff helped me at Calicut airport when we were stranded there due to a sudden hartaal there. We were provided with coffee and snacks, my mother very happy. I thank the staff there, that day.

I had booked my ticket for flight 6E 914 on 12 July 18 to travel on 13 Jul 18, I have received a mail stating that your ticket on HOLD due to non payment, but I have already paid the amount through SBI KAVALI through my savings account.
I have booked another ticket and I had completed my journey on 13 July, but I got GST invoice RJ1181907AC65556 dated 12 July 18.
Sine my ticket was on hold and didn’t get ticket, kindly refund the amount of 4084/- immediately Sine you are not my ticket.

i had booked a flight from delhi to banglore on 20th july flight no 6e-2134. the sechudle departure was morning 03:05 A.m but i had received the message that 1:00 A.m your flight departure time is 3:05 A.m but i am not able to go at this time therefore request you to kindly canceled my flight i was going for the Army interview i have received information now that my interview is cancelled now. I was trying to cancelled my flight by booking site but its showing that you can’t cancelled this ticket. You can cancelled ticket before 2 hr. Diparture time of flight. I have boarded your flight 6E 834 from Bombay to Hyderabad dated 28 June 2018, for which I have checked in my luggage. On receiving it at Hyderabad some stuff were missing from my luggage. I hope you understand the seriousness of the matter. As per your prestige kindly look into the matter as early as possible.
I would also like draw your attention towards mishandled luggage as it was entirely wet when received.

With great distress and anguish i hereby submit that my daughters flight was rescheduled by the airline arbitrarily with out any acceptance from the passenger. My daughter jacquelene d silva was schedule to travel ON 14/06/2018 BY flight no 6E 3175 BOM -IXE.

Despite Odisha and Chattisgarh being neighbouring states, the capital cities of Bhubaneswar and Raipur, both smart cities, do not have a flight service connecting them. Trains usually take 15+ hours. I hope that at least a daily ATR service can be viable for your airlines. Please go through the viability factor. Hoping for positive results….
