I had purchased Ken Star micro woven in 2011. Since last 6 months it is not working. I have given to repair to a authorized repair center at Secunderabad 1month ago. I am informed that an IC in PCB is to be replaced with new one for which he tried to get from Mumbai and Bangalore. Though 30 days has passed still he could not get IC.
May I request Ken Star to help me to get it repaired. Any solution may please send to my mail.

I had purchased a Kenstar microwave from Vedoms showroom Nagpur. Currently out of warranty. Few days back The input pad was not working hence I had lodged a complaint to the service station, of Kenstar in Badkas Chowk, mahal Nagpur (ph no. 0712-2732215) on last saturday. The service engineer Mr Chandu had come to our place and took the PCB for repairing. He told me that it would cost Rs 650 and Rs 250 for repair and service charges respectively. Since that day there was NO proceedings done from your service station, today upon calling him it was told to me that the PCB is not repairable and also a fresh one was not available. And the service station said to dispose-off the microwave oven.
This is sheer irresponsibility from your service station to harass the customers and also to mislead them. It is possible that for a part replacement one has to destroy the whole appliance?
If it is to be disposed off then I will dump the appliance in a trash can and click a photograph of the appliance and will post it on a social networking site and will add the fact that if a part is out-of-order of a kenstar appliance then you have to replace the whole thing and throw the WHOLE appliance out as it is ir-repairable.

I am using a Kenstar Microwave
it has stopped working for last more than 6 months.
I had placed my 1st complain on 2nd May 2012 vide no. BLY025120033. i received a message that Mr. Ramesh will visit my house to rectify my problem. he visited my home & told that its PCV is not working. after he took his visiting fee Rs 250/- & PCV he never turned back. I had registered complaint again vide no.BL:Y0607120025,BLY0408120037 but without serving & visiting home my all complaint had closed & received a message “In Case you are not satisfied with the service please send SVC-CFB-N on 9211728660. Thanks”. After that I hv sent unsatisfied with service messages to mentioned No.
I had visited local service center personally & contacted the service provider MR. Jamal & Mr. Pratap, the Area Service manager. But no one took interest to rectify the problem. After that I have so many times contacted local service center, Area Service manager & kenstar customer care but I Received no response from anywhere.
I hd a very bitter experience with ur service providing side
I have some other products of kenstar but now I M scared about rectifying the upcoming problems of those products.
The above experience is making me ready not to buy/not to suggest to buy any of your (KENSTAR) products in those conditions of service.

Extremely Poor Service and Inefficient people, Service engineer took PCB of my KENSTAR microwave for repair and almost for 20 days I had been calling him every day around 25 times but he has not been answering my call when I called the service center, the guy was talking in very bad and abusive language, and taking me for a toll through out the day by giving false commitment for repair and didnt bring the PCB till now, Really very bad experience with Kenstar and Videocon Service Center, I would like to suggest other customers to never even ever buy any VIDEOCON and KENSTAR prodcuts. The Service Engineer name was “IRFAN BOLANDA” & HIS LEAD WAS “ARVIND SABLE” both are really unprofessional and should not be any such job which affects customers.
Hopeless people and hopeless service, I will put on my experience on every website showing reviews and will try to reach consumer forum and news paper for escalation.

I have been using a water geyser since few months.
it has stopped heating water since 15 sept. 2012. All lights are on water also comes out of it but normal not hot.
I had placed my 1st complain on 22nd Sept 2012 on 022-39404040 post which i received a no saying that Mr. Anwar would visit my house to rectify my problem. he never called but i use to follow up with him-when are u coming /where are u / are u coming today? and all…… in-spite of this so many follow ups your said person never turned up even after my requests. i wasted 2 weekends siting at home waiting for him but he never turned up.
Then a very nice thing happened-i received a mess from ur side:

I was really pissed off by this message which made me call your so called customer care number again and eventually registered one more complain:

And this time i was feeded with another Brilliant engineer and SMS goes like this……

Till date no Dilip no Anwar has contacted me ever.
The above experience has already made me ready for not buying any of your (KENSTAR) products now or in future.
If this mail is read by any of the concern/loyal employee of the company then please see what you can do.
Even-after writing this mail my problem is not rectified i and going to throw this product and will never contact you guys in life as i have wasted lots of LPG (heating water) and calls (follow ups).

I raised a complaint for that with the Customer Care , Complain Number luc0304120209 & luc0604120392 and someone came to verify it. After inspection, the engineer could not raise the problem then again I call to senior engineer to find the problem after his visit he said that problem was found but not repaired at his service center and he will replace it in 1 week. But till time my Microwave not replaced. I am worry about my Investment in that Company which is Number One Company in Home Appliances. No Buddy solve my problem. This is disgusting.

I Rajesh gupta have a microwave oven make KENSTAR model no OM26EGO/serial no V260ko5510 . This appliance was reported faulty during the month of Oct 2011 and complaint was lodged at centre.Service Center M/s ECOLOGIC SERVICES MATHURA contacted to repair and charged accordingly with components and service charges. but this fault was not removed and again reported to centre the centre again charged service charges and components charges and kept the oven 9 days with centre before return back. The problem ” start button is not proper functioning ” is still continue. I personally reported to them and complaint booked on NET but all are invain. Nobody is taking interest to remove the problem. The service engineers are not seems so competant to remove the problem and asking to drop the oven again at Centre .
It is Service Centre Or cheating Centre ? Please advice how to resolve and escalate this issue to the highest level.
I Ranajit Ray Chaudhuri logged a complain (KOL0407120054) on 4th July 2012 to repair my Kenstar Microwave. Service Engineer Soumen Banerjee (08420048238) from Serampore Service Center took off the PCB without any written document confirming to replace that with a new one. The appliance is out-of-order and nobody from Kenstar Service center is ready to listen this complain.
This is a clear case of cheating by Kenstar. Please advice how to resolve and escalate this issue to the highest level.
I had registered complaint for my kenstar microwave oven. complaint no is GHA1903110372 on 19th march 2011 but is still unattended, assuarance is given on the toll free number but no mechanic came.
I had bought a Kenstart Microwave last year from Amravati, Maharashtra and brought it to Pune. After working fine for 1 week, the plate started giving problems. I raised a complaint for that with the Customer Care and someone came to verify it. After inspection, the engineer said that some lock is broken and he will replace it in 1 week.
No one came even after 3 weeks so we called the person again and then he came and replaced the lock. It worked fine for 2 days and again started giving same problem. We called again and this time the engineer said that the problem is with the motor. He replaced the motor after another 1 month. This worked fine for 1 day and then the timer started giving problems. We are not able to set the timer. It sets only at 95 minutes that too only on High Power PH1. We have called Customer Care several times and they assure always that the engineer will call back but no one has called for the last 3 months. We called the engineer directly and he says he will come to our place but no one comes.
This is disgusting. If the problem can’t be corrected then replace my microwave.

Our Kenstar Microwave is in the name of Mr Mustan thanawala . On 19thAug Mr Manoj technical person from Kenstar visited & repaired . But again within 5 days it stop working . So on 23rd Aug2010 he revisited took the front bottons part alongwith him & said there is some problem in the bottons will get it repair .
