MSRTC provides inter-city bus service within the State of Maharashtra and selected cities neighbouring states along with the local bus services in selected cities. It operates 15,500 buses which come under the categories of Simple Buses, City Buses, Semi Comfortable, Mini Buses, Deluxe Buses, Air Conditioned and Minibuses. MSRTC offers services like online booking, mobile booking, ticket cancellations and refunds, holiday tours and packages, parcels, bus passes etc.
MSRTC Online Booking: For passengers who would like to avail the online booking services of MSRTC can visit the following website to make their online reservations and also there is cancellation facility which is also available online for all the bookings made on the website. The consumers need to register first to access the Online Reservation and other services of MSRTC.
Refunds and Cancellation: The cancellation of E-tickets will be allowed before 4 hours of scheduled departure time from origin OR before preparation of Reservation Chart, whichever is earlier. The tickets booked through MSRTC online can be cancelled at the booking counters or through online and the money is transferred back in the same of transaction done during the payment.

I was traveling to Ichalkaranji from Kolhapur, one of my friend waiting near bus stop at market yard bus stop, I told to conductor to stop the bus, he yelled at me and said if you go outside the bus, and also driver is not stopped the bus as my friend requesting by showing hands to stop the bus, bus no is MH 12 EF 6477 time is 10:10 am bus route was Kolhapur to Ichalkaranji

yesterday,i was travelling from Nasik to Pune by Shivshahi bus with family..due to Diwali vacations,all buses were full but still i got last row seat reservation. The clanliness was horrible..someone vommitted in last tour and afterward no cleaning was done…i talk to driver but no use..I travelled first time with family -me, my wife and 10 year old kid and manage to sit with 2 seats which were cleaned..Shivshahi management should take care of such issues..
Booked ticket for Pune beed shivshahi bus dated 11.11.2018 bus timing is 10.00 PM it’s 12.15 am still waiting for the bus controller is telling that bus is coming to Shivaji Nagar within 10 – 15 minutes he told this ten times, waiting for bus since last two hours, it is highly annoying, trust dependability of of Msrtc has gone haywire

I tried to book the ticket online through MSRTC site on 5th Nov, 2018 for the journey date 9th Nov, 2018. I was doing booking at 11:30 PM, I searched the desired bus and booked the seat and made the payment through the credit card. Amount is debited in my credit card but MSRTCh site said “Now Booking Time is Over”. Later I learnt that there is time window for online booking (????). I followed up with my bank they asked to contact MSRTC. So I am trying continuously but my call is not getting attended at all on the number 1800221250.
Please help to where I can get the help. Customer service is not at expected level.I was always disappointed by your customer care service.
I m traveling from jalna to Kolhapur sleeper couch shivshahi bus , when I deman bus coordinator for Blanket & charging shocket he said charge pint not working & blanket not available, I think private transport better’ than Government transport.

Bus was 2 hours late & conductor from kolhapur at punji bus today was so rude. He was unprofessional he was stopping bus everywhere for any passenger but as I told him to stop the bus for two minutes at highway, because it was 3 am at night. He rudely refuse & left me.
I was traveling from pune to baramati in shivshahi bus. Journey time was 2.30hr. There was some traffic in hadapsur so it was already too late. After some time driver& his friend who was drunk they stoped bus in between Saswad – jajuri at some dhaaba for 15-20minutes to have there own meal.
When I asked them that its already too late and this is Non-Stop Bus passenger’s are paying for Non-Stop to complete journey fast.
In reply Driver and his drunk friend used very abuse language and said that I ,’ll stop bus wherever I want and how much time I want.
Note:- This is a very risky for passenger’s because shivshahi bus driver don’t have time responsibility and very irresponsible.

The observe many weird things such as driver is not aware of route, driving is not smooth.
The most weird thing observed is conductor took the driving control and drove the bus from parel till some distance.
I mean how the conductor can drive..
When we agrue he said driver is new and he don’t know the route.
This ppl are putting ppl live at risk.
In kolhapur district, there is bus stand and students monthly pass counter at Wathar turf vadgaon. The ST. officer not available there many times to give students passes, and he have not available suitable cost of passes. Because of the situation students have face many roblems. The opening & closing timing is not regular. The behaviour of officer is not good against students. So please take attention and change the officer or make changes to satisfy service.

Today i have booked online ticket for Nandurbar from Nashik cbs of shivshahi bus (1.30pm). I was there on nashik cbs by 1.15pm and ask controller about bus but he said that bus will come around 3pm i dont have any information regarding that and some of tha travellers told me that shivshahi bus departed 15 min ago
How can they do this if msrtc is not able to provide good service then dont do this travelers are not bound to you to travel through your buses
After waiting for 2 hours I again went to controller and ask about bus instead of providing info he has shouted on me then he got to know i will file complaint on 4.00 he gave me in writing to seat in shivshahi of nashik Nandurbar which were at 4pm
So I kindly request the msrtc management please if your not able to provide good service at least be polite to travelers they are not traveling for free of cost people are ready to pay cost but at least communicate with them politely
First of all I would like to thanks for starting the Shivshahi services on Pune- Panjim ( Goa) route. But the worst thing is there is no any online reservation facility from Kolhapur. And the other worst thing is there is no any single shivshahi from Panjim to Solapur. If you see NWKRTC or Kadamba they are serving much more better than MSRTC despite of their manpower and strength of buses ! When will learn? No any single Shivneri from Solapur or Kolhapur to Panjim. Which are the things stopping you for not taking actions on these Issues . If you start the shivshahi service from Solapur to Panjim then I can surely say it will be helpful for Job personnel and tourist who used to go on their hometowns on weekly and daily (Sawantwadi- Vaibhavwadi -Kolhapur) basis . I am a student.. I am daily travell by bus but I am and so many other students are sooo much dissatisfied with the service providing by our depo which is Igatpuri. We all students gave them so many times complaint but there was no action from them.
Then we start to go to toll plaza but at that time the drivers n conductors are miss behaved with us n they dont carry us because we have pass.
This treatment is gived to students by msrtc worker’s.
Please take some action and give the solutions to us
We had did booking of shivshahi travelled from kankavli to pune by on 10th Aug 2018. But due to maratha morcha shivshahi bus get cancelled.kankavli depo Controller give us confirmation regarding ticket refund of Rs1300 but still there is no any action regarding our refund…or they are not cooperates us or any procedure they get followed.I am very upset msrtc and shivshahi service.Please refund our money at earilest
I have taken a MSRTC BUS MH 07 C 1395 from kalamboli ( panvel) high way to manpada (Dombivli) fare is 35 rs as per the price list of msrtc, but I have been charged 40rs fare from panvel depot which is neary 10 km where I m travelling opposite to panvel, depot.
I have be charged 5 rs extra. When I asked to conductor he directly states that you don’t know about fare and if you want you can complaint any one if you can.
What is this happening why I have been charged 5 rs extra.
I am Traveling Aurangabad to Yavatmal every 2 & 4 Saturday, My experiences about S.T. Bus very bad, Pune -Aurangabad – Yavatmal, ( Shivashahi ) Aurangabad time 8.00 Pm but always bus are late to 10 to 11 pm. please update his time properly .other, please arrange or started new bus from A.bad to Yavatmal ta night ( 7.00 pm to 11 pm ) as per your suitable time.
Traveling Nasik to Borivali, Shivshahi buses are worst buses ever,as soon as it starts raining water start dripping from upper windows,when complained about it to conductor he just checked it n sat on his seat,I told him again k do something about it,he was like me kai karu mage jaun basa,there was an empty seat so I sat there,what if there were no empty seats,was I suppose to seat under dripping water for 5 hours.

I had booked a ticket (Ticket No – 33581991) in MSRTC to travel from “Swargate to Ajara” on 8th June 2018. When I asked in Swargate bus depo, they said that this bus service has been cancelled due to the Employees strike and the ticket amount can be claimed later. I have attached here my ticket. Can you please check and do the needful to refund the ticket amount to my bank account? Please revert to me if you need any more information on this.
I m travelling in Shivshahi bus number MH 06 BW 0577. BUS JOURNEY IS FROM MAHABLESHWAR TO PUNE. I PICKED IT AT Pachgani at 7.50 pm. Total journey is of 2 hours OR 2Hr. 30 Min Max considering traffic.
Still for such small distance bus driver took bus to unauthorized Hotel for dinner. And it was there for 30 min.
How these attended and driver can stopped bus at unauthorized center for dinner?
Kindly take necessary and strict action.
Or provide bus timing including such unauthorized stay.

I booked bus tkt from Wai to Pune Station for 15/06/18… bus was scheduling at 1:15 pm but came at 2:10 from Mahabaleshwar and when I asked conductor whether bus will reach by 4 pm as I had to catch train at 4:35 pm on the same day … he Said rudely that buses won’t run on time k said he will break for lunch …I spoke to Mahabaleshwar depo official he was helpless and sorry too. she had to drop that bus&went by taxi to catch the train. We neither traveled nor got refund bus fare &had to pay 1000/- for taxi from Wai to Pune .
Request to authority that not to misguide passengers.. follow timings or atleast intimate delay in advance .. pls teach Wai enquiry counter to behave and answer to ladies atleast.

Shamed on MSRTC & state Gov . It is very sad that, bus workers are again went for undeclared strike from last night . because of that common people are facing lot of problem. I am requesting to state government for taking necessary action. Whatever bus workers are doing is not right way to get the justice for there demands. They should give proper intimation to state gov before go for strike.

I am on Dhule bust stand and i have to Go to Nasik with my family.
Unforunate and very shame that The Ticket controller dont when bus is coming and which bus is coming. We have waited in Queve for more than Hour. Then i have comPlaint to Dhuke Aagar controller but he also dont know when and whic bus is coming. No tracking of bus and tracking of driver. Even he dont know drivers mobile. Most rubbish situation and very poor response of the people. Later this people barking for mahamandal in loss. Actually you make the mahamandal in loss…Aapko bhagwan hi bachayega….Sudhar jao…Give priority to customrrs they are paying you fools..

Regards to you. Today my family had a very bad experience in regards to behavior from MSRTC driver of Shivshahi bus, which was scheduled for departure time 14:15 from Nashik CBS (New) to Shivajinagar (Pune). I suppose the bus number was 1285 and driver’s name I am not sure, but if not wrong something like Mr. More. First my son who tried to convey him that the AC setting was not right he replied in a very indecent manner as if shouting at him. The setting of the AC was at 29 degrees Celcius, which in this hot climate is not at all suitable. Secondly the charging points were not working, may be he did not switch on the supply to them or the mechanism may not have been working, but he should have convinced in a polite manner instead of shouting at a small child. Also the bus was travelling at a slow speed, which I will not complain about as it may be given security and safety angle. At least this much courtesy he should have observed.
In regards to this I would like to bring it to your notice that the buses are upgraded, but the mindset of the drivers needs to be brought to higher level and also some seminars are to be organized where mannerisms are taught as the basic things. Many drivers are driving the bus with their window glass left open with the AC on where there is no partition door between the passenger section and the driver sitting place. This does not provide ample cooling when it is required and compressor is put to more load. All the things that are incorporated in the buses for the passenger’s comfort need to be provided with decent behavior on the person in charge of the bus (driver since those buses do not have conductor). They need to be educated properly regarding the different types of controlling switches, indicators, etc. Even the luggage compartments are not made available to passengers who carry rather big size luggage when the luggage panel doors are not opening. Some of the drivers are not at all ready to extend service with smile, may; be they are stressed or overworked, but this is no fault of the passenger. Secondly now the road is four-lane from Nashik to almost Narayangaon, but what I have observed is that the drivers (about 50% + ) of the total driving Shivshahi buses have still not agreed to this fact that the road is four-lane and should drive at a rather more safe speed, but instead they still continue to drive at the same slow speed. They drive slowly or at medium speed along this whole section, but when the bus crosses the Rajgurunagar toll plaza then the speed increases and especially after Bhosari they drive as if now there is traffic free road. Where the road is with not much of traffic they will drive slowly and where there is traffic they will drive at a higher speed, so these things need to be convinced to them.
Also taking halt at roadside dhaba most of the drivers spend minimum half-hour or more, which is very frustrating for the passengers who are traveling for a five to five-and-half journey with half plus-hour lunch or dinner break.
I hope the concerned official will take corrective actions about these issues. I wish a speedy and transparent action is taken in this regard.

Chandrapur-Gadchiroli buses are very very disgusting irregular in time. Managements sleeping. Todays’ 8, 8.30 am bus is not on time, At 8.35 Sakoli bus arrived at that time simultaneusly another bus made available but where is 8.00 am bus. Its not the case of today but very regular. Without asking authority you just enquire if u r interested in business.

Sub: Refund of online reservation money due to cancellation of bus trip

I Pradip R Saraf have booked the ticket online through your site by net banking for chinchwad to Chiplun bus. The trip no. is PNEL0005693 & TICKET NO is 27604664.The journey date was 16/02/2017 6.05hrs.My journey was from swargate to koynanagar. I reported at swargate bus depot at 5.50hrs and waited for one hour. Bus did not come. After enquiry I came to know that Bus Trip is cancelled as conductor of the bus has not reported on duty. It is really funny to digest this.
As I have missed my further important works due to mismanagement of MSRTC, I suffered a huge incovinience.I asked about refund of money, no proper information is given. The higher officers were not in the chair. For refund of money ,the enquiry counter person told me to bring hard copy of ticket which was not possible at that time. Already I missed my scheduled bus ,I have to postpone my important works.
As I have booked my ticket on line through net banking, I request you to refund me my money by reverting the amount to my bank account. As per all govt. rules, the online transaction refunds were deposited to the respective bank account. In this case the bus trip itself is cancelled by MSRTC, so there is no question of cancellation of reservation. As I had a great inconvenience ,you need to pay me compensation just you charge for cancellation.
I once again request you to deposit my refund to my bank account. Hence forth I will avoid to book online tickets and avoid to travel by MSRTC. For your reference I am attaching the bus ticket herewith.

I am a very loyal customer of MSRTC shivneri.
Off late the services hv been pathetic.i had booked for 9.30 am bus frm swargate to thane, picking me up from vanaz.
After waiting till 10.30 I enquired about the same . There I was told that 9.30 &10.00 am busses reservations hv been clubbed. I ended getting worst seat possible as my seat was already been taken by the 10 am bus reservation.
To complain about the same I tried the toll free no. Mentioned on the web site…I get a response saying calls to ths no. Are barred.
This is really a govt. Organisation where no Q hv been askd to people working , they are least bothered about the satisfaction of the customers.
Terrible turn around fron shivneri services ,once it was famous for ontime ok performance n nw its upside dwn.
I am travelling from Pune to Gangakhed from bus. Bus number : MH 20 BL 2311. This bus leaves Pune bus stop around 6am today. When I asked for 3 ticket to conductor from Pune to Jamkhed, instead of this he gives us ticket from Pune to Gangakhed. we pronounce it rightly as Jamkhed, but he listened it wrongly. Because of this I am not satisfied with his behaviour.
