I have bought Philips 42inch Television worth Rs.50,000/- 14months back. Within 14months the speaker of the Television stops working. I have made complaint to customer care 45days back. Company’s engineer was come on 1st September 2018. he said that he don’t have that particular part, so after 20 to 22 days he will come and replace the part. He also told me that if u pay me Rs.1000/- than i can change it immediately, but the product is under warranty so I refuse to pay him Rs.1000/-.
I have paid him Rs.1300/- as service charge to him. Receipt for the same is attached herewith for your reference. After that number of time I have called your customer care center, all the time they told me that your matter is pending and our engineer will call you within 24 hours, but no one is called me till now.
Customer care guy told me to directly contact service centre and I have been given phone no of Mr.Dharmendra. Cell No is 9167888215.
I have called more then 20 times on this no, but no one was picking up the phone and don’t even call back.
After taking product of Rs.50,000/- we are not satisfied with the product nor with your services. Such a international brand like Philips wants to gathered money on the name of service charges or by way of product cost then why the warranty was given.
Kindly look into the matter urgently.

I have purchased Phillips LED TV Model 58PFL9577 Model from Nagpur based Authorized dealer M/S Norwest Electronics, NAGPUR (Maharashtra) on 13.03.2014 by spending about RS 1, 77, 777.00 which is huge amount for middle class citizen like me.
The TV was carried by your Authorized service center by about 3 months + for carrying out the repairs at your center. I have been chasing tooth and nail for urgent repairs.
In-spite all out efforts by NAGPUR SERVICE Team till date the TV is not repaired due to non availability of MATCHING/ INTERCHANGEABILITY SPARES .
Its really frustrating that for 3+ months PHILLIPS could not resolve the spares availability issue.
You will appreciate that non availability of spares in 4+ years is extremely worrying especially for such a expensive TV.
I make fervent appeal to please arrange to refund the cost of TV so as to ensure that I go for other TV immediately.
I hope immediate action shall be taken to avoid my & families mental agony for want of television.

my TV was not working so i contacted your customer care for repair of TV. After 2-3 days your representative came to repair the TV but they took 15 days for repair and they replace entire board and charged me 2000 rupees which i paid him immediately, but they have not closed the back side pannel. your representative told me that they have forget to bring that pannel but they will close it with 2-3 days. from that date no body came to close my TV. it is still in open condition and its already 3 months. i am regularly trying to contact that person but no response. then again i contacted customer care and lodge a complain but still no response.
i want to know is this the way of philips to deal with customer.

I bought a 32 inches Philips LED TV Last year August (2013), Is is not functioning properly, I have been facing problem related to remote control of this TV since beginning. I have made the complain many times related to this problem. I made complaint on 18.10.2013. But they closed complaint saying we are not available, even though we picked up call told them to come and check. I have again made the complain on 23.10.2013 ref no is PBLR2310130050.
Service technician told its sensor problem and set top box problem. We never faced such problem with Sony or Samsung Tv.

My complain no is PAHM1404130031. It was a nominal problem in my philips Lcd 24″ tv. picture was appearing in two part. Technician checked the tv and gave judgement to replace card with Rs 2400 estimate. i agreed. after few days he came with new part and tried to replace. After few moment smoke was appeared. after few days he came with power supply card and tried to replace. Again the smoke appeared from the tv. Because of company’s stupid service i’ve lost my TV.

I bought a Philips LED T.V. On 22/10/2011 from Vijaya Sales, Ambernath. On 17/10/2011 I saw there is a vertical line in
whole screen of the LCD T.V and colour paches also. so I lodged my 1st complaint on 19/10/2011 to Vijaya Sales, Ambernath.
They forwarded my complaint to the company & I got complaint no.as PINA 1910110054.and then Engineer came and he told back
side port is loose so he tight and just gone till that time it is working aft 2-3hrs the problem comes again.
and engineer told if their is any issue then i have to call to call that engineer not to company so i call he just delay
and then again i complaint no.is ptna 2910110206 as on 29/10/11 aft he came and told their is an issue of motherboard so he
told i will come again with motherboard. again he came and check still issue not resolve then he check and told the motherboard

I have given a Philips Trimmer under warranty to Authoirized Philips Service Centre – M/S Multi services, Shop no 13, Mathwad Prangan, Shivtirthnagar Paud Road, Kothrud, Pune 41102. W/O number 83284000006952 on 24 Dec 2012. The engineer checked & told me that there is a battery problem & he will replace the battery & resolve my issue in 2-3 days (As I requested that I had to go out of town after that) . Infact I was given in written (on jobsheet) 26 Dec 2012 as delivery date. Today on 28 Dec 2012 I called & other person (I guess Tukaram or so) told me that he needs to check the Trimmer. I asked him there is a battery issue & that was identified on 24th Dec itself. I also asked him in case he wants to recheck then what was he doing during last 3-4 days that he needs to check it now. But this guy didn’t wanted to listen & told me in that in case a battery replacement is required he would need another 8-10 days to get the battery. Is this done?? I told him that I will lodge complaint against them as they wasted my time & am taking my device back (obviously in un-repaired status). He told me that I should return the job card in case I want to take the device. I asked that he should give me in written that he couldn’t repair it in the time frame which was promised to me. Instead of apologizing for inconvinience caused to me he said that he will not write anything & in case I want to take the job sheet I can take it & even lodge a complaint in Philips & nothing will happen. What a confidence in Philips. Amazing!!
1) Is this the way the service center people in multinational company like Philips behave & talk to customer??
2) Why have they committed a date on which they couldn’t deliver?? It wasted my time.
3) What is the penalty this service center will get due to inconvinience I faced??
4) What about my device (under warranty)??
This is not all. There is more to it. I called immediately on 18001022929 (customer care unit of Philips). The guy who picked the phone told me that he is not authorised to register a complaint against a service center & I should speak to his superior. He put me on hold for 10 min. I called again & same thing happened. Finally 3rd time after 3-4 min a guy introduced as some senior person. But what he did – He just told me that I will recieve some call in next 24 hours.
I googled about “Philips India complaint” & trust me I didn’t get any hit on first page related to a complaint cell in Philips website. Amazing!! This shows that Philips don’t want to listen or register consumer complaints. It seems they just want to sell & later their service centre people do FAVOR (not their jobs) on people in case they repair. Wow!! Really disgusting for a company of philips standards.
Let me see what action Philips takes on this service center. Though I know the answer -NONE.

Last time I made complaint on 23.10.2012 complain no is PGUR2310120125. But till now there is not done anything from your side to resolve my problem.I have again made the complain on 19.12.2012 ref no is PGUR1912120008.
I am very sad and disappointed with the service of Philips India, I had heard about Philips that its very old and reputed company but i am sorry to tell you that my experience with you clearly makes you incompetent in comparison of your competitors.
I hope that Philips India will improve it services and would be able to provide the services up to the expectation of every customer.

I had a problem with my newly bought 42″ LED TV within a month of usage and I registered a service request for the same. complaint no is PCOM 2610120051 on 28 sept 2012.
Service technician Mr. ASAITHAMBI ,who verified the TV said there is some power supply issue and he is going to fix it in two days on 01 oct 2012 and I didnt get any response from him for more than 10 DAYS. No resonse after several tries on his mobile 9944195657. I tried calling his supervisor Mr. SENTHIL on 9543571650, its the same and I didnt get any response from him too.
Waited or more than 35 days and I have lost all my patience and I would like this to be escalated to Philips and I need the response at the earliest.

The TV started to give blank screen couple of months back and also showing a grey vertical live with a blank background.
We have contacted your service centre at Edappally, Ernakulam and been told that there is a problem with the panel. They also told us that the panel is not available. But they have mentioned that even if the panel is available it would still cost us more than the cost of buying a new LCD TV.
I don’t understand why the parts cost this much amount when we can get a new TV for this price. I dont think that people will go for this solution where customer has to pay a huge amount. I have almost lost the faith in Philips products and I think I have to stop recommending philips products. We bought this TV from the money we had for savings. and Its really unfair that its parts cost too much .
I dont mind paying resonable price for get it repaired.

In just 7 Months the LCD TV had a problem, the channels could not be changed with remote or from TV Panel.
My father filed a complaint on the Tool Free 1800 102 2929 and got compliant no- PIND1309120058 on 12- Sept.
13 Sept the LCD was given to Local Service center at Guna (M.P.) with a response that a part needs to be ordered and will be repaired in 7 days.

We have given 1 Month + 15 Days for resolution to the service center, Please replace the television as what we understand is that, the part is not yet received or not in inventory, or the resolution is not possible for the Philips service center.
Please replace the Television or provide the refund by 5th November, or if the odel is discontinued provide me the new model, i am willing to bear the difference.
Else i may have to buy a new TV (of course not Philips) and resort to Consumer court for resolution. As of now i do not feel the need to do so; I have trusted Philips brand since my childhood, is it too much to ask for a Global brand to restore trust of their customers and provide customer delight.

I lodged my complaint on the same day to Vijaya Sales, Ambernath. They forwarded my complaint to the company & I got complaint no.as PINA 0209120059. On 8th of Sept. I received a call from one person named Nilesh Gadkari. He reported to my house on 09/09/2012, He checked the T.V. & he found that it is irreparable. He took some photos from various angels & told that the piece is irreparable & You will be contacted by the co. & You will receive a new piece. For this It will take a month for the procedure. The month is passed but no response was received. So I contacted to Nilesh who came to my house. He told me that He submitted his report to the company & his job is finished & told me to contact to Mr. SHASHIKANT whose no. is 8421657069. On first day I called 86 times on that no. but nobody gave me response. I called next day again on that no. Mr. Shashikant took my call & told me that the photo took by nilesh is not proper therefore he want to take some photo again & for that he is sending one person to my home. But till nobody is reported to me. I suffered very much in this day. Very Worst service is receiving from the philips co. & there fellows. Now Mr. Shashikant is not receiving my phone. This is a failure of Co.
I will request to all the buyers nobody go for PHILIPS PRODUCTS. They are selling their products one time & we are suffering for a life time. So my request is not to buy PHILIPS Products.

It is genuine request , please don’t buy any Philips TV, They are not worth of a single rupee, they are liability on you, their service has LESS THAN ZERO points , I bought one LED tv spending Rs.1,30,000 with 2 year warranty, that tv stopped working within few day of arrival after a lots of effort (around 3 months) we got new tv and that tv stopped working after 2 days of arrival and again after LOTS LOTS OF EFFORT (around 4 months) we got new tv as replacement and that new tv dint work for SINGLE MINUTE, when they install it IT WAS NOT WORKING … and guess one thing they dint pick any of tv from my house all 3 tvs are at my home and just reminding us daily what a BIG MISTAKE we have done by spending Rs.1, 30, 000 and its been more than 1 YEAR still no solution. Every time i call them they said we will let you know next day and NEXT DAY NEVER COME
I launched a complaint No. PDEL0507120141 i got a quick response and the TV was repaired within seven days. But within 25 days the same part of the TV got damaged and i was confirmed by the engineer from the service center that they will replace the part free of charge as it is under warranty. But after calling them five times a day, nobody responded to my request. After one month of follow up the lady at the service center requested me to log a new case ( pdel2908120062 with Philips. Ten days after the engineer came to our house and demanded that we pay him though the part was under warranty at the time of fa-lure,

i purchased a philips lcd tv on 11.12.2012. on 16th august 2012 i launched a complaint (PDEL1708120055)saying that my tv is not working. an executive came and had a look at it on 16th august 2012. he said that the power supply board is not working and that they will have to check if the part is available or not. i am in constant touch with the customer care service and they informed that they are still looking for the part. around 10 days ago i got the area service manager\\\’s number and he told me that he would look into the matter. i am still waiting for a reply from your side. i am feeling cheated by your service! please treat this as urgent and do the needful as soon as possible.
I’ve got the ultra slim line tv model number 21PT8867/94. Its transformer is burnt out and Your local authorized service center United Electronics services, Secunderabad has not fixed it since 8th of august, 2012. They never called us and it is always we kept calling and extremely poor reply to bear. Kindly, look it to this issue and i’ve been using philips products since 1978.

Had filed a complaint of my TV not working. Complaint No PGZB2806120074.
Had the same problem in Aug last year wherein it seems that they had changed the power supply. Three months later the my TV same problem occurred wherein they changes the part and demanded extra money for replacement. After taking up the issue they waived the amount.
On 26 June 2012 ,again sound was there put without picture. Engineer came and claimed that the inverter supply needs replacement. The reason for not replacing was because the product had only one month warranty which was not agreeable to me
Little while ago i have spoken to the senior resource at the call centre which subsequently was on the conference call with the service engineer at Ghaziabad who has promised to revert within 15 min.
I hope my problem gets sorted out.

We are having problem with LCD DISPLAY with this TV and for this we lodge a complaint on 12/12/2011. Complaint No. is PDEL1212170078. Service representative came after 4 days and notified us that LCD has problem with display and its need to be replaced as previously too (26th May 2011) it has same problem but somehow it rectified itself. It has been 7 weeks and about to 2 months now and I haven’t got my TV replaced that too when I was in regular in touch with Philips all concerned persons (Major Gill, Mr. Chandan –Area managers, and your Regional Manager,Mr.Suvrat and your service in charge Mr Jaiprakash).
I have mentioned to Mr.Gill as well as Mr. Chandan and your executive Sampurna that if my LCD TV will not be replaced between 15 to 20 days I will buy new one as we can’t wait so long and they promised me to do so with in time. But very sorry to say that they could not fulfil their promise. They are just passing the time because pain is not in their neck.
I have bought a new TV, and now it’s not possible for us to keep two TV. Kindly please refund my money and take your defective TV urgently. Sir, with sheer disgust and disappointment we bring to your kind attention that you have very poor after sales service We have suffer a lot and will not get harassed mentally anymore from Philips. We know it was our greatest mistake of buying Philips LCD TV. We are disappointed by Philips the name we trust.

I have purcheased Philips LCD TV in 2008. Model LCD32 TA 2800(D10)/98. But it failed working in just about 3 year period. We lodged complain to customer service center. Complain No.PMUM3110110012 & its authorised service center Galaxy at Vikroli, Mumbai visited for repair. They charged very very high cost Rs 9500 for just FCB repair. They do not issue the bifercation of the bill. As per oral talk they say the shifting charge is Rs.1200 to take it to work shop. They took away the TV & take more then 20 days for repaire. I was without TV for about 30 days. I ask for the old part which is replaced but nothing is done. One we purcheased the TV from Philips then they cheat us on repaire which cost very high & they charged high as per their wish. Now i may not buy any things made of philips unless they resolve my complain

I own Philips TV 34PT8322. My unit remote was not operating, hence I approached Vision Electronics, Thane – your service centre. At the outset they refused saying that they do do not have to repair 34 PT8322. After some period I was informed by Philips Goregaon centre to contact them as necessary arrangement was made. Vision Electronics demanded Rs.6700/- however agreed for Rs.5500/- being replacement of SSB (???) vide their invoice dtd 23.12.10. After 15-20 as distorted picture was coming I approached them again. Again they took my unit to their service centre and after 12 days returned.
The service provided is unsatisfactory.
Now again I am facing the same problem. What I am supposed to do?
Please advise.
My remote control device have gone bad within two years of its purchase, While other remotes do noy provide such troubles. I have much faith upon the philips brand. but if such recurring problem persist I have no other option but to switch my allegiance to other brands.

Our CRT TV (i cant remember the model no)was turning OFF automatically after some time.After registering complaint on call center 15 days back,issue is still not resolved.When contacted on Kalyan office(i stay at Ulhasnagar),we are always told that the service person will attend our call next day.But,their next day never comes.
I really doubt whether they have the Technical team for problem resolutions or are they outsourcing it to some other company.
Someone pls explain them the meaning of ‘service’ to them.

I purchased philips tv model.21PT5438/94,sr,noBJA0929017059 on 11.11.2009 from your gandhidham dealer , during usages tv failed. we longed complaint on29.08.2010 .philips technician came for visit on 04.09.2010 and taken ckt for repair and promised to start tv by day or two ,but considerable time had passed no action
taken for rectifying the fault.
Earliest action in the matter highy appericiated.
