Sir,
Please note that the above referred fridge bought from M/s Shree Distributors of Ulubari , Guwahati , showed failing of its cooling system in September 2012 , and we informed service centre at Tezpur immediately. They rendered servicing to it and handed over it to us. But unfortunately, the fridge’s cooling system again failed in November 2012. Again, the service centre was informed of it and they took away the fridge. But so far we have not received any communication from them.
Now, in our opinion, a product of Samsung should not have given trouble so early, specially because, the model was costly.
So, we request you to do the needful in this regard immediately on receiving of this letter , and arrange to replace the defective fridge with a fresh one of standard quality.

I too have the same problem, this should be published in all the local and national news papers, so that they know the quality of the samsung products. I bought a samsung fridge costing Rs 17000 on 03/05/12 from Dimapur, Nagaland. Its the 4th time i am going to call those samsung technicians who just come for nameshake and for whom we have to wait for 2/3 days without attending office. I don’t know what to do with this refrigerator.

I purchased a double door refrigerator model RT60KZRSL on 7-July-2012 from Suraj Business P Ltd in Palam Vihar Gurgaon, India. The refrigerator started malfunctioning within a week. Two engineers from Samsung came and confirmed that there was a problem in a controlling PCB which needed to be replaced. In spite of repeated reminders nothing has been done.I demand a complete refund from Samsung immeditaly
I m dissatisfied with the service as I called up the customer care n they did note down my problem with my refrigerator n there technician came and told me that the refrigerator I m having a is a higher model and he is not cable of fixing the problem and he went off when I had given proper information about my refrigerator model no and stuff. This is with reference to the complaint no. 8442372659 dated. 23-7-2012. on customer care no. 1800110011.
To begin with, my wife namely Archana shukla had purchased a refrigerator 2 yrs ago and on 13-5-2012 the fridge stopped cooling. As we did not know where to lodge complaint, so we approached the dealer ( Vijay sales- the seller) which is located in kalian. From there it was forwarded to the authorized service centre namely OMKAR SERVICES, Bhagawati Ashish, Shop no. 5, Syndicate, Murbad Road, Kalyan(west)-421301, Ph: 0251-2210638/ 2210625.
1. That on 13 -5-2012 fault occurred in the fridge.
2. That on 14-5-2012 complaint lodged in Vijay sales.
3. That on 15 -6-2012 the engineer visits home and does nothing but charges Rs. 250/- towards his service charge.
4. That on 16-5-2012 the engineer visits again and does the gas recharge and charges Rs. 1000/- which again includes his service charge of Rs. 250/-
5. That again on 21-7-2012, the same problem occurs. ( no cooling in the fridge)
6. That on 22-7-2012, I directly visited the OMKAR SERVICES, shop no. 5 as mentioned above, it was told to approach customer care and from them I got the toll free no. 1800110011.
7. That on 23-7-2012, again the engineer visits home the third day, as in between Sunday falls and only for the visit he demands Rs. 250/- and commits to visit next day with his gas charging kit and removing the choke in the gas pipe line as per the engineers statement.
8. As he was refused to pay this Rs. 250/- for unnecessary no results and re- occurrence of the same defect, he in lieu argued and threatened my wife saying that no one will rectify the fault and nobody shall in future visit your home for the rectification till such time the visit charges are paid again.
9. Since then I have been approaching customer care but all in vain. The customer care supervisor also had taken into conference of the in-charge of OMKAR SERVICES and everyday it is told that somebody shall attend. Now it has been so many days my daily use eatables are spoiling which cannot be stored inside the fridge.
10. That my wife is unable to leave the house because of commitments made by the customer care that somebody will come for repairs. But no body is coming. This harassment is not tolerated henceforth.
11. That the Samsung dealers have made a dirty business to extract service charges money by making unnecessary visits and demanding Rs. 250/- each time without any achieving results.
12. That I am an Ex- serviceman from Indian Navy and shall approach the law of court as all the evidence are held with the undersigned.
Therefore, it was my duty to inform you that such type of treatment is being provided by your good company. Because of your value in the market, I had purchased, Samsung washing machine also, but after seeing your company’s behavior, I am repenting.

My Eight month old Samsung Refrigerator is not functioning again, and I have made a complaint about the same on 1st July-2012. (complaint no. 8439627170) Despite repeated reminders, it is not working . The after sales service is pathetic. They have a customer service call center. But they only know to take the calls. No follow-ups.
I wish I have opted for any other refrigerator. Within 3 months of purchase, the gas leaked from the fridge. happened again in one yaer. Now again down with reason unkown. I had 8 year old reffrigerator (another make) before byuing this one. Never had any issues with that in the entire period of use.

My experience of Arcee Dealers is that they are crooked.I have had an unfortunate experience of purchasing a Samsung Fridge Model RT59 on 21/06/2012 vide Challan No. 15255 on 21/06/2012 from Arcee Electronics Sec-15 Nerul(E), Navi Mumbai. The delivery date was given as 22/06/2012.Proper Brand new refrigerator has not been received till today from the dealer who is now saying that it is likely to take three to four more days.
This amounts to cheating and breach of trust.
This is also deficiency in service.

I registered complaint on 8 May and it is 17 May and No resolution got… we called customer care and one technician came and said we have to de-frost it regularly ( which we use to do, even before he said).
if any of the concerned authorities see this- we are going to approach the Consumer Court if no immediate action is taken to solve our problem as our hard earned money is found wasted.. we require a complete replacement of this good for nothing, useless, trouble maker thing or our full money back..

On 03/11/11 my fridge was taken from my residence for repair purpose by Samsung Authorised Dealer. But after that when I phoned them they replied that it has already repaired but they cannot make it delivered due to vehicle problem.
From last Saturday i.e. 12/11/2011, they are continuously giving me false assurance that my Fridge will reach my home any moment. But till now it has not reached. When I called them (6569-0210) Some Ms. Pinky told me that can’t deliver the same due to vehicle problem.
If I have any urgency I should hire a vehicle & may take delivery from their place. i bought samsung RT26GCPP model refrigerator on 3 rd march 2011 and it stopped working on 12th March!!! lodged a complaint with customer care and since no body would be at home in working hours, i requested the executive to send the engineer before 9.30AM or after 6PM and he agreed for that, but on 14th i got a cal from service engineer saying he would be visiting my flat for the checking the fridge. i requested him to come after 6pm since i am in office but he said he will not be available at that time. So, i had to come all the way from office. He inspected the fridge and found out that, power supply was not passing to compressor section and said that that part which supplies power to the compressor got damaged while transporting (i didn’t see any mechanical parts to get damaged while transporting) and replaced that part and frdge started working fine. but today(16th March) it stopped working again and looks like the same problem. again contacted the customer care!! not sure what will going to happen but i am deeply disappointed with this product. After spending 17+K, stopped working for the 2nd time with in 10 days is too much to tolerate. after seeing all these complaints here, i think i made a mistake by going with this product.
I have brought a Samsung 2 door refrigerator in the month of May’2010. During the time of delivery the chill room cover was broken. Since then I have been complaining to the dealer with whom I had purchased and directly with the customer care center. All I am getting is the new complaint number every time. We had a problem with our fridge last wednesday 18th Aug, and lodged an immediate complaint, and were told that Glass fitter has to be replaced which will be immediately ordered for us, and ever since, there was no follow up.
When we called up the service center to enquire abt the order status, they spoke very rudely and ill-manneredly that it might any number of days for the part to reach from Delhi, & they cannot assure us abt it. We were very disappointed with the bad customer service.

My Samsung refrigerator door switch was not working so I lodged a compalint with Customer Care centre on 14.07.2010 vide complain no. 4023968732 and technician came on 19.07.2010 and changed the switch but due to light problem he could not check whether it was working or not.
When I checked that time it was not working and I again phone to customer care and informed the same. Now, today is 11.08.2010 and I requested Customer Care centre 3 times that your technician has not come but I have received no response from the Customer care and neither from the Service Centre.
I would request you to look why company like Samsugn cannot solve the problems of Customer who are trusting them. Instead of buying your produce better we purchase Indian product from whom we are getting a good Service.

I bought a Samsung side by side refrigerator in May 2010 from Samsung Plaza Pune,and made a request immediately on payment basis for extra shelves / trays. Till today i.e 27th July 2010, my request stands pending and no sales or service agent has a answer.

I am totally dissatisfied with the sort of service provided to me by SAMSUNG COMPANY, I am having an SAMSUNG REFRIGATOR 360 ltrs double door. The compressor of the fridge is faulty / not working from past 15 days. The local service center guys after week prompted me to do complaint to Samsung as they have certain issues with company. Then have complaint to Samsung service center the request no is:- 8404300051 on Wednesday 23rd 18:24:00 hrs.
They promised it would be done next day.
Yet not done again contacted Samsung company service center on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday. Can see the record with the company. Have contacted the local company representatives approx more than 30 times, but sometimes say:-
Fridge is not avail, compressor lot is faulty, will take 2 days, will take 7 days. Company not ready to cooperate.

How can I solve my problem.

r samsung fridge is nt working from past few days ….no cooling is taking place in it n dis scorching heat of summers in delhi is making r life miserable..i hav ben calling on customer care nos. provided above bt either no 1 is picking d call n on d other no. it says 2 chk ur code even wen i m dialing d right 1..i guess samsung needs 2 do d needed repairs fast n 2 improve its aftr sales service otherwise v need to tk d route 2 d consumer court…..

Just 2 days after I entered my comments in this column and my fridge was repaired I again started facing issues with my fridge. It was not cooling enough.I again called the technician and he said they are under going some kind of training and can only come after 5 days.I literally pleaded him to come and repair my fridge.Thankfully the guy came after 3 days. My husband took a half day from office and the technician came in the evening hours and looked into it and said that a fuse in it is not working and needs to be repalced.He said he would repalce it the day after.
I am waiting for him to come tomorrow but mean while I would let all other customers know that my all new fridge is just 2 months old and has under gone repair twice. No wonder if I will have to call the technician every week and repalce a new part every week!
I want this fridge to be replaced with a new one.I cant take this pain any more.
The WORST customer service I have ever had was with Samsung.
I and my husband went for a 2 day vaccation. When we came back the fridge was not working.I was surprised as it was only 2 months old we bought it. My husband lodged a complaint by calling the customer care. There was no response from then after that.
We called them again and again, spoke to the manager. Then a guy came to my place after 2 days. He checked the fridge and said that one part need to be replaced.He said the part is not availble with him now, he would replace it the day after. He never turned up. We kept on calling the manager. He kept on saying that he has ordered the part and it would be replaced in a day. But that actually took 5 days for Samsung to replace the part.I had to throw all the food items I had in the fridge.
I cried the whole night because I took so much pain to buy the fridge. I saved 16000/- and bought the fridge for 15100/- ,which is a big amount for me. Its my hard earned money that I invested to buy this product and the customer service guys just don’t care about the problems we go through.
I would recommend others to buy rather a local product than Samsung.
Samsung is the worst company as afar as providing service to existing customer is concerned…….
Thye will go to any extend to seel a product,therafter they will not eve turn thier face to the same customer in bad times….
I had very bad experience….
Please never buy any Samsung product.
I HAD LODGED COMPLAINT NO.8406653699 ON 13.4.2010 FOR REPLACEMENT OF BROKEN WATER BOTTLE SHELF IN RT-34 345 LTR FROST FREE REFRIGERATOR. TILL THAT AFTER 3 WEEKS NO BODY HAS BOTHERED TO CALL UP OR ATTEND THE COMPALINT .WHEN I CALLED UP ON 3.5.10 I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE COMPLAINT HAS ALREADY BEEN CLOSED ON 17.4.10.
THIS IS TERRBILE. WITHOUT ATTENDING TO COMPLAINT HOW CAN THE COMPLAINT BE CLOSED. EVERY TIME YOU CALL CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER THE EXECUTIVE ASKS ABOUT YOUR DETAILS AND ASSURANCE IS GIVEN THAT COMPLAINT WILL BE ATTENDED IN A DAY ‘S TIME. IF THIS IS THE KIND OF SERVICE WHICH SAMSUNG IS OFFERING I WILL NEVER ADVISE ANBODY TO BUY SAMSUNG . CAN ANYBODY FROM SAMSUNG SERVICE EXPLAIN THE REASON FOR THE ABOVE.

I have been trying to get my fridge repaired for the last two days. Samsung Service centre informs me that the condenser needs to be replaced but they do not have one so I will have to wait a week or ten days!!! In summer how does one manage without a fridge? I used to have ONLY Samsung electronics in my house but the after sales service is so deplorable that one by one I have got rid of each one of them. This fridge too I guess will end up with the raddi walla and I will have to buy a new one definitely NOT samsung because in this heat it is impossible to keep food without spoiling. I am also amazed that Samsung has only one service centre in the whole of Mumbai no wonder it runs out of parts! A VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. NEVER BUY SAMSUNG

i bought a samsung refridgerator from a shop (Q.R.S shop, Pattom, Tvm) wide model number RA182Ym81/XTL on 15/10/2008, for around Rs 9500. It has got 1 year warranty.
Immideatly after 2 or 3 months, some problems began to occur. Water starts flowing in our kitchen daily through this fridge.. we called customer care and one technician came and said we have to de-frost it regularly ( which we use to do, even before he said).
Recently, it began to smell very very badly too.. we again called customer service, technician came, took 120 Rs from us with out solving the problem..
if any of the concerned authorities see this- we are going to approach the Consumer Court if no immediate action is taken to solve our problem as our hard earned money is found wasted.. we require a complete replacement of this good for nothing, useless, trouble maker thing or our full money back..

I have a Complaint on my new refrigerator giving problem i.e 8413978824.I have lodged this complaint on 13 march 2010,but after one month over , i have made 15-20 calls followed by complaint ,no engineers has come /no response from samsung /dealer side. Iam really frastated with this companys after sales service.
I planned to throw this samsung company refrigerator from my home.
